As the most sophisticated institution of higher learning, Dhaka University has long stood as a cradle of free thought, cultural expression and national awakening and the Faculty of Arts has always been at the epicentre of them. From historic student movements to contemporary cultural milestones, the students and community of this faculty have consistently served as a vibrant pulse of our society.

This 14th November 2026, the Bangladeshi Marathon Enthusiasts (BME), in proud collaboration with the Faculty of Arts, University of Dhaka, invited students, alumni, faculty members, and running enthusiasts nationwide to unite. Step onto the live campus routes and celebrate our shared cultural heritage. Run together for a community built on creativity, unity, and resilience.

Who Can Join?

# Current Dhaka University (DU) students, alumni, their family members, and general students from any university, college or school are all welcome! 

# Current students must present their Student ID during registration. 

# Alumni need to provide a DU certificate, alumni ID card or any other referenced document. 

# Relatives of DU students or alumni must provide the DU affiliation reference of their family member. 

Race Rules & Policies:

Medals: Awarded exclusively to runners who finish within the official cut-off time. 

Format: This is strictly a live, in-person event (no virtual option). 

Transferability: BIB numbers are strictly non-transferable. 

Refunds: Registration fees are non-refundable, even if unforeseen circumstances force a date change. 

Event Safety & Schedule

Schedule Changes: Timings may shift due to weather or unforeseen conditions. 

Health Advisory: Participants with existing physical ailments are strongly discouraged from joining. 

Liability: Organizers assume no liability for any injuries or illnesses sustained during the event.
